FREE Blog traffic - revealed!

Saturday, April 3rd, 2010

Here’s the big secret to massive free internet traffic to your blog. You may have wondered how do these blogs rank so high in the SERPS. The answers is hidden in these three factors backlinks, Page SEO and Aggregation.

Backlinks: are hyperlinks that link back to your site with the keyword. Most of the time these should be one way links.

To get back links think about all the different kinds of media available on the internet. Media like articles, blogs, audio, video, software, news and PR, social media and much more. The key is to create content for all these media types and use all the different methods and free web sites to generate back links.

Page SEO: is using the keyword on your web site in such a way to attract the search engines. The URL should have the keyword in the title, the keyword should be used in the headline, the keyword should be used in the body of the text, the keyword should be used in hyperlink, the keyword should be used in the next to pictures on the page and lastly the keyword should be used at the bottom of the page.

Aggregation: is when the content is pulled or pushed from one web site to another via RSS feed. Google loves fresh new relevant content - it eats it up. Your web site should be updated everyday, even every hour if you can. The more frequent the the more Google will show up and index your page. The free tool I use to do this is X-Fruits.com

At x-fruits you can mash up RSS feeds and sent them back to your blog via RSS. You can read more about this at x-fruits.com

In summary, focus on these three elements and you will see your blog traffic grow. One other factor is the keywords. Some keywords get more traffic then other keywords. So, do some keyword research before committing to the process above.
