Youtube Sniper - How to get 300,000 views to your web site

Thursday, May 6th, 2010

You may have heard about youtube and how great it is for getting traffic to your site. But, for many it’s not so - why?

Thousands of videos are posted to Youtube everyday and each one has the chance of being watched by millions. But 100’s of thousands more only get viewed by just a hand full. (I mean you can count the number of views on your fingers - this is NOT good)

As marketers we can spend hours of our time each week creating and posting videos just to end up with no views. Imagine how frustrating it is to create hundreds of videos only to end up with no traffic and sales on your web site.

What if there were a way to only post winning videos. What if all your videos had a backlink to your web site and got at least 50,000 views? What if just 1% of the people who saw those videos visited your site? Would 500, 1000, or 300,000 visitors a month change your online business?

You bet… Here’s how to have your link on videos with 50,000 views and growing. You will only have winning videos from hear on.

Step 1: Stop making videos and posting them to Youtube. (what?) You are shaking your head in disbelief. That’s right stop wasting your time (unless you make really interesting videos). Like I said thousands of videos are uploaded to Youtube everyday by regular people (people who are not marketers), just everyday folks.

Step 2: Pick a market and find recent videos in your market. Then follow some of those videos and see if they get 50,000 views.

Step 3: When you find a winning video that does not have a url link to a web site contact the owner. Ask the owner if they would be willing to take some cash in exchange for a link on their video. You can also ask them to put an annotation on thier video as well.

The process is simple and will get thousands of views to your website. But, there is one problem to the process, it still takes a lot of time to do all the research and contact people. Well, I found a service that will do all the research and contacting and give you a list off all the people who willing to put links on their video for less than $5 a month. You can find them a utubesniper.com.

I hope you take advantage of this technique and learn to profit from Youtube traffic.

FREE Blog traffic - revealed!

Saturday, April 3rd, 2010

Here’s the big secret to massive free internet traffic to your blog. You may have wondered how do these blogs rank so high in the SERPS. The answers is hidden in these three factors backlinks, Page SEO and Aggregation.

Backlinks: are hyperlinks that link back to your site with the keyword. Most of the time these should be one way links.

To get back links think about all the different kinds of media available on the internet. Media like articles, blogs, audio, video, software, news and PR, social media and much more. The key is to create content for all these media types and use all the different methods and free web sites to generate back links.

Page SEO: is using the keyword on your web site in such a way to attract the search engines. The URL should have the keyword in the title, the keyword should be used in the headline, the keyword should be used in the body of the text, the keyword should be used in hyperlink, the keyword should be used in the next to pictures on the page and lastly the keyword should be used at the bottom of the page.

Aggregation: is when the content is pulled or pushed from one web site to another via RSS feed. Google loves fresh new relevant content - it eats it up. Your web site should be updated everyday, even every hour if you can. The more frequent the the more Google will show up and index your page. The free tool I use to do this is X-Fruits.com

At x-fruits you can mash up RSS feeds and sent them back to your blog via RSS. You can read more about this at x-fruits.com

In summary, focus on these three elements and you will see your blog traffic grow. One other factor is the keywords. Some keywords get more traffic then other keywords. So, do some keyword research before committing to the process above.

Who Moved the Cheese? Affiliate Marketing in 2010

If you have ever read the very popular book “Who Moved The Cheese?” by Dr. Spencer Johnson you would know the word “cheese” is a metaphor for money. The characters in the book find a large pile of cheese and are happy for a time.

They are millions of people that believe the best source of income is a job. They believe that working a 9-5 job will give them a lifestyle they can live with.

But, if you are reading this blog, you are likely not one of those people. In fact you mostly believe that affiliate marketing is where the cheese is at. While there is a lot of cheese to be had in affiliate marketing, the most money in 2010 will be made in mobile marketing.

I just do not want you to miss out on a huge opportunity. Do not be like Hem in the book who refused to go back in the maze and find another resource of cheese. Be a Pioneer and gain huge returns.

How big is mobile marketing? In recent months Google (the largest Online Search Engine) purchased a mobile media company for $750 million. Google has also stated that they would not release a applications with out first considering mobile technology first.

Yes the opportunity in mobile marketing is going to be huge. Compare it to email marketing with it’s 20% open rate, mobile marketing’s text message open rate at 97% is amazing. Plus, 87% of  people open a text message within the first 15 minutes of receiving it.

Plus there are currently 4.6 billion Mobile phone users compared to 1.7 billion internet users.

That’s 5 times more mobile devices than computers.

With very few businesses using mobile media as marketing platforms there is very little competition. Mobile offers convert 5x better into sales and 7X better for digital coupons.

Mobile phone users take there phone with them everywhere. They consider their phone as part of them.

But, there is a very big difference in marketing on mobile devices and marketing on the internet.

A mobile phone is not the internet on a smaller screen.

Affiliate marketing will not work on mobile devices, at least not yet. People just are not comfortable at buying products with their mobile phone. People just have not gained that comfort level with the technology.

Recently, the Red Cross raised millions of dollars for Haiti with a mobile campaign. But, that was an exception and a lot of trust had to be put behind it.

What Mobile phones are good for right now is marketing for local businesses. Real brick & Mortar businesses. Businesses hire marketing professionals, like yourself, to develop marketing campaigns for them. Why not you?
Imagine creating a mobile coupon for a local pizza shop. You go to AdMob and send a broadcast message that saids “Text “pizza” to 756432 and get free medium pizza” People would be running into the shop with their cell phone in hand.

Mobile marketing works fast and it is easy to use. It is up to you to educate your local business owners on how to use mobile marketing in their business.
